Ted Lasso’s coaching journey isn’t over just yet.
Apple TV+ confirmed on Friday that Ted Lasso will return for a fourth season. The third season wrapped up with Lasso heading back to Kansas to coach his son’s soccer team after guiding AFC Richmond to a second-place finish in the Premier League.
During an episode of New Heights, a podcast hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce, Sudeikis—who portrays Lasso—shared that Season 4 is currently being written. He also revealed that Lasso will take on the role of coaching a women’s team, potentially following up on the storyline from Season 3, where Richmond owner Rebecca Welton contemplated launching an AFC Richmond women’s squad.
The critically acclaimed series has won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series and remains one of Apple TV+’s most popular shows.
